Plan Now for Operation Christmas Child 2008!
Collection Week is November 17th-23rd

WPRZ is your local Relay Collection Center and we are gearing up for our 13th year collecting gift-filled shoeboxes for Samaritan's Purse. This incredible relief ministry is headed up by Franklin Graham and distributes millions of gift-filled shoeboxes to desperate and needy kids all over the world. Not only are the kids blessed with gifts, they also receive a little booklet in their own language that tells them about God and the Good News of Jesus Christ. Countless lives are changed as a result. We consider it a very special blessing to work with Samaritan's Purse in this incredible project. Please check with your pastor to be sure your church has an Operation Christmas Child coordinator. If not, please consider taking on the task yourself. This year we'll be working with Chick-fil-A in Warrenton, as they will be participating and collecting shoeboxes. On November 4th and 11th, Shelley Burnham will be there talking with people and handing out information about the project and Collection Week.

Then on Monday, November 17th Collection Week begins. The collection hours at WPRZ are as follows:

Monday, November 17th - 9 am - 5 pm
Tuesday, November 18th - 9 am - 5 pm
Wednesday, November 19th - 9 am - 7 pm
Thursday, November 20th - 9 am - 5 pm
Friday, November 21st - 9 am - 5 pm
Saturday, November 22nd - 9 am - 5 pm
Sunday, November 23rd - 12 pm - 5 pm
