WPRZ Online is what we previously broadcast locally over 1250AM in Warrenton, Virginia. We have sold 1250AM in preparation for a new non-commercial FM at 88.1 and also in preparation for our expanded ministry to kids that will involve a Christian Camping, Music, and Retreat Center. We are very excited about where God is leading our ministry. We invite you to come along with us on an exciting journey as God continues to reveal His plans for Praise Communications.
Our new headquarters and studios are now located at 5562 Baldwin Street in Warrenton (Where the old Big K radio station used to be.) The building had suffered years of neglect and had been abandoned for almost a year. Several people advised us to just bulldoze it all down, but God sent us some very special people who took on the challenge and began renovating the building in September. We thank God for Ed Nicodemus, Harry Linton, Gary Penix, and the others who came to help. It’s been worth every dime spent. Hopefully, the project will be done by spring! |

Selling WPRZ 1250AM was not an easy decision to make but we know without a doubt that God was leading us to do it. The station was sold to Metro Radio and is now a Spanish format that includes some Christian programming we’re told. As a result of the sale, we now have more than twice the office and studio space as before along with 14 acres of beautiful property located right on Rt. 29 and Baldwin Street in Warrenton…and it’s all debt free. Hopefully, the building renovations will be complete by spring and we will be in a good position to move ahead with finding a location for the Camping, Music, and Retreat Center. In the meantime, we hope to begin doing some small outreaches and activities at Baldwin Street. It is so very exciting! Charlie, Ric, John, and the Kid’s Time Gang are so happy to get back on the air! And now, there is a large room just outside the new studio where kids and their parents can come and watch “Kid’s Time Live” as it happens each and every Saturday morning from 8:30 to 11. If you would like to come, just give Kandy or Sally a call at 540-349-1250 to let us know how many will be coming. You will have a lot of fun and you’ll be able to see how much “Kid’s Time” means to our local kids!! We know that God has a lot more in store for them through Praise Communications!
Financially, our focus right now must be to raise funds to cover our day to day operating expenses. We thank God for all our long time friends who are so faithfully contributing monthly or quarterly. The problem right now is that we need more of our friends to stand with us…and grow with us…and pray with us as we step out in faith towards this new vision.
