We are really excited about our upcoming event to help raise the necessary funds to keep WPRZ on the air!!  It should be a fun time and we are combining it with a Silent Auction where listeners can get some great bargains all donated by local businesses!!  We'll be sharing about the history of WPRZ and asking our wonderful listeners to make a pledge to help us reach out to our local communities with the life-changing truth of God's Word.  Please join us for these three days of special programming as we work together to raise the funds needed to operate the ministry!!

WPRZ 88.1 FM's Kid's Time Gang at "We the People, An American Event"

WPRZ 88.1 FM’s Kid’s Time Gang will be at the “We The People – An American Event" on Saturday, July 3rd from 1 to 9 pm!  The event will be at Richie Lake Pavilion, 5177 Richie Road in Bealeton and will include a fireworks display.  Our tent will be near the stage so please bring the kids by for some fun games and prizes!!  There will be pony rides, a moon bounce, tethered hot air balloon rides, live music and much more!  Find out more at www.anamericanevent.org. 

FM Dedication & Praise Gathering

A WPRZ 88.1 FM Dedication and Praise Gathering is being planned for Saturday, June 26th from 3 to 8 PM to celebrate the occasion at our new location on Baldwin Street in Warrenton. The Celebration is by invitation to everyone who has stood with us over the years and receives our monthly Ministry Highlights.  Tickets are free but must be requested in advance by calling 349-1250 or emailing sally@wprz.org.  

WPRZ 88.1 FM Is On the Air!

The biggest news in Praise Communication’s 28-year history occurred when WPRZ 88.1 FM went on the air May 28th at 12:30 PM right before Memorial Day Weekend!  It took 11 years to get a construction permit from the FCC to build the station!  It was an incredible journey of faith as Praise sold its only radio station, WPRZ 1250 AM, to grow the ministry and continue waiting on the FCC to approve the 10,000 watt FM construction permit.  There were 25 other competing applications in 19 other communities all hoping for the frequency at 88.1.  We are so blessed and humbled to be chosen for the permit… and blessed we were able to get the station on the air!

We are so excited about Janet Parshall’s new program!  It’s going to be a fast-paced, caller-driven program that will feature timely, biblically-based analysis of breaking news and current issues.  You will get some fresh insights to equip you to talk about Christian perspectives with boldness and grace.  “In the Market with Janet Parshall" will air weekday afternoons from 5 to 7 pm eastern time!  Be sure to tune in, listen, and call in with your comments!

We’re planning a “Praise Gathering” to dedicate our new FM radio station to God!  It will be a gathering of our friends for music, food, and a great time of fellowship here on the grounds on Saturday, June 26th!  We are going to need lots of hands to help.  If you would like to get involved, please call Sally at 540-349-1250.
